Bob Audy

Audy BOB AUDY has worked in every aspect of show business as director-choreographer for Broadway, television, movie, and summer theatre across the country. He has coached or taught numerous stars, including Shirley MacLaine, John Travolta, Cybil Shepard, Joel Grey, Ben Vereen, and has trained several generations of international tap dancers. His focus is on crystal clear tap, breaking manipulations down to their essential sounds, and strong use of arms. His pull-back and wing technique is a must for all tap dancers. He wrote the best sellers published by Random House, "Teach Yourself How To Tap" and "Jazz Dancing" and has taught for every major dance organization in the United States as well as in Paris, France and Helsinki, Finland. Bob was delighted to accept The Dance Masters of America President's Award for 2001. He was honored for his contributions to tap dance Tap City 2003 and in 2007 he was on of the Flo-Bert Awards recipients.

For the past 23 years, Bob has also has been the Director of the Dance and Fitness Program and Interep National Radio Sales, Inc, an advertising and marketing firm specializing in radio and internet.
