Ashley Anne Russ: "Annie" is a native of Chicago where she began her training at Giordano Dance Center and Lou Conte. Upon moving to New York, she attended the SUNY Purchase Conservatory and continued her training in voice, acting and dance in New York City. She has been a member of Purchase Dance Corps, SHOCKrarts and House of the Roses (under the direction of Jeff Shade: doing the ordinary with extraordinary love!). She has performed in tours, off-Broadway and regionally with Northstage Theatre Company, West Virginia Public Theater, Smithtown Performing Arts Center, Downtown Cabaret, Connecticut Children's Theater, McCarter Theater, American Globe in Manahttan, Stage Right Productions in Manhattan, and (upcoming) Tokyo Disney. This past year, Annie assisted dir/chor Scott Thompson with a musical revue for Princess Cruises. She made her New York Musical Theater debut as Vivien Leigh in WARD9 for award winning choreographer, Matt Williams.

Annie has taught dance and fitness all over Chicago and New York. She obtained her pilates certification through PowerPilates. Her goal as a teacher is to pass on the knowledge that she has received, and inspire her students to challenge their minds and bodies.
