CAMILLE A. BROWN (Artistic Director) is the 2012 recipient of The Mariam McGlone Emerging Choreographer Award given by Wesleyan University, 2012 City College of New York Women & Culture Award, a Princess Grace Award Winning Choreographer, and the recipient of The Project Next Generation Award. She has choreographed works for Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Philadanco, Ailey II, Hubbard Street II, and Ballet Memphis, among others. She received a 2011 Bessie nomination for 'Outstanding Individual Performance' in her work, The Evolution Of A Secured Feminine, and a Best Choreography nomination from the Black Arts Alliance for her first work on AAADT, The Groove To Nobody's Business.

Camille danced with Ronald K. Brown/Evidence from 2001-2007, has performed with AAADT as a guest in 2008 and 2011, and is currently a guest artist with Rennie Harris/Puremovement. Musical credits include: Fortress Of Solitude, directed by Daniel Aukin, Pins & Needles, directed by Ken Rus Schmoll, and House, directed by Saheem Ali. She graduated from LaGuardia High School of the Performing Arts, attended The Ailey School, and received her B.F.A. from The University of North Carolina School of the Arts. She is the choreographer for the Broadway revival of A Streetcar Named Desire, and the Off- Broadway show Soul Doctor- opening this Summer!
