Joe successfully juggles the roles of Director, Choreographer, Producer, Teacher and Entrepreneur. As the Executive Director and Choreographer for NYC THEATRICAL EVENTS, Joe has produced, directed, and choreographed countless live industrial shows. His choreography has been featured everywhere from soap operas to MTV, Off-Broadway to stages around the world, including Lincoln Center, NYC. He was on the original creative staff for the hit TV series, "Club MTV", on the MTV Network. He has worked with such celebrities as Bill Cosby, Diahann Carroll, Broadway greats Andrea Mc Ardle, Leroy Reams, Lucie Arnaz and Lorna Luft. In the last two years, Joe has directed and choreographed ten new stage productions including the critically acclaimed Zoot Suit Strut, for the Xanadu Theatre at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City. Joe is happy to utilize NYCDA talent and alumni in these productions. Joe's dynamic style and explosive choreography have established him as a driving force in the shaping of New York City jazz dance. He continues to travel the country and the world, offering master classes and workshops. International workshops have included Mexico, Italy, Denmark, France, Canada, and fourteen trips to Japan. When not traveling Joe teaches in New York City at STEPS ON BROADWAY. He has been a jazz consultant and Choreographer at the "famed" NYC High School for the Performing Arts. He is happy, once again, to join the faculty of the 2001 Jazz Dance World Congress, and continues to serve as a proud member of the prestigious faculty at The Juilliard School.
