Pam Lenker recently moved to New York to pursue her dance career after several years performing, choreographing, and teaching on the west coast. Pam was a featured tap dancer in Savion Glover's Din Daa Daa at the Paramount Theater in Seattle, WA. Other featured tap roles include Johnson and Peters' A Tap Dance Christmas Carol and the Masters of Lindy Hop and Tap at the Century Ballroom. She was a tap and contemporary soloist in Black Nativity at the Tony-Award winning Intiman Theater, and a featured contemporary soloist in Dance this....! at the Paramount Theater, where she performed choreography by Sonia Dawkins of Pacific Northwest Ballet. Additionally, she spent the summer of 2005 improvising alongside Roxane Butterfly at the Pink Door in Seattle, WA. Recently, she could be seen dancing at Seattle's ACT Theater with the original New York cast of Back From the Brink, a contemporary/acrobatics ballet making its west coast debut. Pam was a founding member of the tap company Solesound, and currently dances as a member of Sophisticated Sounds tap company in New York City. Recent choreography credits include a music video for Nordstrom showcasing their spring line. Pam is in demand as a performer, teacher, and choreographer in tap, contemporary, and jazz on both coasts.
