Carlos Renedo originally from Barcelona, Spain, has danced in several musicals including the Spanish Broadway productions of
Mamma Mia!,
Victor Victoria, and the debut musical production of
Quisiera Ser playing one of the lead roles. Carlos has also performed in the Belgian opera productions of
La Traviatta and
Nabucco, as well as in various TV series (Disney Channel) and films. In New York City, he has performed in many dance projects such as APAP Conference at Dance New Amsterdam, Eryc Taylor Dance Company, and the past season of Rebecca Kelly Ballet at the Alvin Ailey Citigroup Theater. A proud member of AGMA (American Guild of Musical Artists), he danced at Jacobs Pillow Festival 2010 with The Collective: Yesid Lopez Contemporary Dance, and for a second season at The Metropolitan Opera House as a member of the opera ballet in their production,
Les Contes d'Hoffmann, directed by Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher. As part of the Steps Repertory Ensemble, he performed in
Celebrate Dance 2010 at the Riverside Theater in works by Benoit-Swan, director of Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet, and Andrea Miller, director of Gallim Dance, among others. He recently danced
The Nutcracker with Coastal Ballet Theater in South Carolina. Carlos is currently a company member of Rebecca Kelly Ballet. He is also an aerial artist, specializing in aerial silks.
