Cherice Barton is a creative force with over 20 years experience in the Entertainment and Performing Arts Industries. An internationally renowned choreographer, director and performer, Cherice's extensive background in the conception and production of live events and film has led her to collaborate on numerous notable projects ranging from Las Vegas Cirque spectacles and feature films to intimate music and dance creations including productions by American Ballet Theater, Dragone Entertainment Group, Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, Aszure Barton & Artists, Ballet British Columbia, 8 Legged productions, Les Ballets Jazz de Montreal (BJMDanse), Wynn Las Vegas, the Chutzpah! Festival, Montreal Jazz Festival and many more.

Cherice recently joined Julie Taymor's creative team for the epic Broadway show, Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark after returning to New York City from Las Vegas where she was the resident choreographer and casting evaluator for the cirque aquatic spectacle, Le Reve, at the Wynn Resort Hotel and Casino. Ms. Barton is proud to have joined forces with numerous prestigious artists and innovators such as Julie Taymor, Franco Dragone, Crystal Pite, Aszure Barton, James Kudelka, David Parsons, Dominique Dumais, Mia Michaels, Vincent Paterson, Danny Ezralow, Serge Denancourt, Giuliano Peparini, John Carrafa and Mikhail Baryshnikov, to name a few. She is frequently asked to conduct master classes, choreograph for and join forces with such distinguished institutions as The Juilliard School, Suny Purchase College, Barnard College at Columbia University, Adelphi College and The Banff Center School of Fine Arts.

Cherice is thrilled to have recently choreographed the Off- Broadway experimental theater production, Wearing Lorca's Bowtie at the famous Duke Theater on 42nd Street, and is working on several notable projects in both film and stage currently in development in New York and California.
