Lane Halperin began her dance training in Traverse City, Michigan. She earned her BFA from Marymount Manhattan College in May 2011. While at Marymount, she performed works by David Parsons, Jeff Shade, Lone Larson, Takehiro Ueyama, Anthony Ferro, May O'Donnell and Erick Hawkins, and interned for Paul Taylor Dance Company, Parsons Dance, Lar Lubovitch and Gallim. In January 2011, Lane joined the Steps on Broadway Repertory Ensemble where she has performed in various festivals including APAP, The Latin Choreographers Festival and more. She has worked with internationally acclaimed choreographers including Aszure Barton, Camille Brown, Sean Curran, Benoit-Swan Pouffer, Larry Keigwin, and Cherice Barton. She also participated in the Steps Ensemble outreach program and taught dance to students at The Hudson Guild Children's Center. Recently, Lane has performed in the Lacoste Fragrance launch in Grand Central Terminal with Gallim Dance, The Table of Silence Project in the Lincoln Center Plaza with Jacqulyn Buglisi, and danced in a film for the New York Film Academy.
