Jeff Edmond, Advanced and Intermediate Tap teacher for the School at Steps is a versatile technician who can go
from Hoofer to Astaire, or from Jazz to Broadway; always meeting the demands of the music. His students have
performed for "Bring in Œda Noise, Bring in Œda Funk," Lincoln Center, The Children's Museum of Manhattan, and
the Jacob Javits Center in New York City. Jeff also spends his summers as the Tap and Jazz Coordinator for Usdan Performing Arts Camp.
As an actor, Jeff was nominated for a Clio Award for best actor in a commercial and had a lead role in the
PBS television series "Watch You Language." He works with Tada Musical Theatre and after school programs
directing acting workshops for children and teenagers.
Jeff Edmond is also published writer. His two books, "The Freakout Zone" and "The Freakout Zone Vol 2" are
available at Amazon.com and Henry Street Press.com. Each book contains five mind-bending short stories for ages ten and up.
