Professional background:
By 1979 Peter had danced every major ballet in the Royal Ballet's repertoire and decided to broaden his horizon. He was invited to join the New London Ballet, directed by Andre Prokovsky and partnered Galina Samsova. Peters extensive dance career took him all over the world.

During his dance career, Peter became interested in teaching, and often coached young dancers in the companies he was dancing with. When he retired from dancing, he continued his teaching interests and eventually accepted the post of Senior Teacher Head of the department of boys, at the prestigious Hammond School in Chester where he taught all pas de deux lessons and coached solo variations and repertoire classes.
