Michele Ribble

Currently the director of Youth Programs for Tap City 2002 section of the New York Tap Festival, Michele writes, directs and performs as master of ceremonies for the Youth Program performance, Tap Youth Tap Future. As Artistic Director of the Rhinebeck Dance Centre On Broadway and Rhinebeck Taps, Michele keeps upstate New York tapping. Michele also presented workshops for Vanaver Caravan and at St. Gregory’s Church in Woodstock, NY. As well, Michele is an adjunct professor at SUNY, New Paltz. As lead dancer and choreographer for the Tommy Sands Revue she has had the privilege of sharing the stage with artists such as: Count Basie, James Brown, Charo, Sammy Davis, Jr., Shirley Maclaine, Juliet Prowse, Red Skelton, and Ben Vereen. Michele is the founder of the Roya Curie Dance Scholarship Foundation, established in 1999 and created in memory of her showbiz Mom to help talented dancers pursue their dance education. Michele’s regional choreography range from Guys & Dolls and Noises Off to Sleeping Beauty and Pas de Quatre.
