YOUR BODY IS YOUR INSTRUMENT. As Uta Hagen said, "This instrument is the violin on which (you) will play."

Through Pilates-based mat exercises and dance technique that focuses on body awareness, flexibility and overall physical power, a more expressive, performance-ready body will emerge--physical characterizations will become more detailed and physical emotionality more compelling.

Michael Blake has danced with Jos=E9 Lim=F3n Dance Company, Donald Byrd/The Group, Joyce Trisler Danscompany and Shapiro and Smith. He is currently on the theater faculty at HB Studios and Rutgers University teaching Movement for Actors.
