Brice & Wes Veldink(Contemporary Jazz Faculty) will be
teaching at the Mediterraneo Dance
Festival 7/28-8/2. This new dance event
in Tropea, is produced and organized by the
association Calabria Arte of Reggio
Calabria-Italy.
Brice is also working on a new piece
based on one of Shakespeare's tragedies to be
workshopped at MMAC.
Wes will be choreographing for an
animated film based on 5 of Charles
Perrault's fairy tales.
Andrew Nemr (Tap Faculty) will
be holding auditions for his company, Cats
Paying Dues, on 7/12 at noon at Chelsea

premiering a new work in Tap City's "Main
Event", July 10, 8pm at Symphony Space.

LEAP
LEAP, (Liberal Education for Arts
Professionals) the internationally recognized
Bachelor of Arts degree program
specifically
designed for current and former professional
dancers, is accepting applications for
enrollment for Fall 2009; space is limited
to 18 new students per year.
Founded in 1999, LEAP makes it
possible for dancers to receive a
comprehensive liberal arts education and earn
a Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Mary's
College, in partnership with Manhattan
College, in 3 to 4 years of part-time study.
Courses are offered at convenient times and
locations and the program's flexibility
encourages dancers to pursue individual
interests and explore different disciplines.

The Joyce Theater welcomes back Pilobolus, a
fan favorite for over twenty years! The
company will present three programs
consisting of two NYC premieres and one
season highlight.
Programs will include a new shadow work
entitled Dog-Id and the third offering
from the International Collaborators Project,
as well as an array of recent and classic
repertory. As always, Pilobolus is a definite
