Course of Study

French Translation | Italian Translation | Japanese Translation | Spanish Translation

Each student accepted into the ISVP Program will have an individually-designed course of study comprised of forty-eight (48) classes per month. Courses are offered for three (3), six (6) and twelve (12) months, with only the six and the twelve month courses renewable for up to two (2) years.

Under the guidance of the program director, students may choose from the following focuses:

• BALLET FOCUS: seven (7) ballet classes and five (5) electives* each week.
• DANCE FOCUS: twelve (12) dance classes per week of which a minimum of two (2) must be ballet.

For the first month, students may take a variety of classes to gain a better understanding of the faculty and their teaching styles.

* ELECTIVES: Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Contemporary, Hip Hop/Funk, Theater Dance, Ethnic, Yoga, Gyrokenesis®, Zumba, and Pilates. Master classes and specialty classes are added throughout the year and are listed on the Master Class & Workshops and the Guests pages.

Students receive a certificate upon completion of their course of study.

Semester Start Dates
Semesters begin on the first Monday of every month. Completed applications must be received at least two (2) months prior to enrollment date. Applications must be complete in order to be considered.

Transfer/Change of Status Students
Students who are already in the United States and have an M-1 or F-1 status may transfer into Steps on Broadway’s program from other schools. Students must contact the Program Director a minimum of two (2) months prior to the desired enrollment date and must still be enrolled in their first six (6) months of study at their current school.

Full application procedure and fees are required.

School Policies
Every student is required to maintain proper etiquette in the classroom and on the premises. Failure to do so will result in dismissal from the program.
