Steps on Broadway invites you to enjoy online live-streamed training from our talented faculty. With Virtual Steps, you can take class anywhere in the world. All class times are in Eastern Time (New York).

We recommend you download Zoom for your mobile device or computer before your first class. You will not need to create a Zoom login and you will not need to pay for a Zoom account. Please be sure to keep Zoom updated for the optimal class experience.

Additional Information:

Students must purchase a single online class to take Virtual Steps classes. Each person taking the class in your home needs to purchase a single class, even if you will be sharing a device to take the class. Steps on Broadway class packages will not be valid on livestream classes. Any currently active packages or those which expire during this time will be extended when we are back in the studio.
Please download Zoom for either your mobile device or desktop prior to the start of your first class. You do not need to create a Zoom login or account to take our livestream classes. We encourage you to download Zoom and sign in early before your first class. Please keep Zoom updated for the optimal class experience.
All class times are in Eastern Time (New York). You must be signed up for class at least 15 minutes prior to the start time of class. This will allow you to receive your class link email in time for class.
Check your email for your unique class link within 15-30 minutes of the class start time. This link can only be used once by you, it will not be sharable with others.
Please ensure that the email address and name on your Steps account is accurate. This information will be used to let you into the class from the Zoom waiting room. This is a security feature to prevent those from entering the class without authorized access.
Please arrive via Zoom 10-15 minutes early.
All classes are presented live (times EST). Virtual Steps classes will not be recorded for later viewing.
Classes are recommended for ages 12+.

FAQ

How do I sign up for Virtual Steps?

You can sign up for Virtual Steps classes on our website or on the Steps on Broadway app as soon as classes are posted. Simply choose the class you’d like to take from our schedule and purchase a single class for $12 (75 and 90-minute classes are $15). You will need to login to your Steps account or create a Steps account if you are a new user. You will receive an email confirmation of your purchase.

What if I want to register one or more of my children for a class?

If you are buying a class for your child/children, you will need to create a Steps account for each one participating. The email address and name on the Steps account needs to be accurate as this information will be used to let the participant into the class from the Zoom waiting room. This is a security feature to prevent those from entering the class without unauthorized access. Note that Virtual Steps classes are recommended for ages 12+.

Can I use a previously purchased Steps on Broadway class package?

Unfortunately, we will not be able to honor classes from previous class packages for online classes. All class packages are frozen until we have a confirmed reopen date. Once we reopen, they will be extended to ensure everyone has plenty of time to use them.

What if I need to cancel my class?

If you cancel your class online up to 2 hours before class start time, your class will be credited back to your account to use for another online class later. If you cancel your class online within 2 hours of class start time, your spot will be forfeited, and you will lose the class. All unused classes will expire 30 days from the date of purchase. There are no refunds for Virtual Steps classes.

How do I join the class?

Within 15-30 minutes of the start of class, you will receive an email with a personalized link to enter the class waiting room. At the start of class, you will be added to the virtual class via Zoom where you’ll see the teacher as well as other members of the class. At this time, you may choose to leave your video on or turn it off for privacy.

I don’t see an email in my inbox. What should I do?

Your class link will be emailed from a stepsnyc.com account, so please check your spam and promotions folders as well. If you do not see an email, please double check your class schedule in your Steps on Broadway MindBody account to make sure you are enrolled. If you are still unable to locate the class link, please email operations@stepsnyc.com for further assistance.
