Creativity Thrives at Manhattanville
On our campus, the arts take center stage! Whether your passion is dance, theatre, studio art, music or musical theatre, Manhattanville’s Fine and Performing Arts Division offers dynamic undergraduate and graduate programs to help you reach your goals.

The Dance Program at Manhattanville is perfect for any student pursuing a professional career in dance. Students hone skills in contemporary/ modern, ballet, choreography, history, dance on camera, and anatomy, while exploring jazz, hip-hop, lighting design, costume design, stage management, and acting.

We feature two fully-equipped dance studios and several performance spaces around campus. Proximity to NYC allows our dancers to work with professional choreographers, dancers, artistic directors, and dance companies from all over the world and to engage in internships at some of the most prominent dance companies and institutions in NYC.
