Akina Kitazawa recently completed her run in NEW YORK, NEW YORK on Broadway, directed and choreographed by Susan Stroman, where she was the dance captain as well as one the swings.

Akina was born and raised in Tokyo. She started her career as a performer when she moved to NYC in 2016. She has worked on Broadway, off Broadway, at Radio City Music Hall, Carnegie Hall, National Tour and multiple regional theaters with Tony award-winning directors and choreographers.
