Driven by her interest in the art, Amy sought training at reputable dance institutions like Alvin Ailey, Steps on Broadway, Peridance Capezio Center, Broadway Dance Center, and more. This extensive training has allowed her to continually refine her skills and explore a variety of dance styles. Her talent and dedication have earned her opportunities to perform in notable live performances and productions, including Broadway Bares: XXX, Good Morning America, BET's Soul Train Weekend, Ladies of Hip-Hop Festival, among others. Amy's experience extends beyond the stage as she has also made her mark on camera, lending her talents to various music and concept videos, collaborating with artists to bring their visions to life.
Amy is also a well-regarded dance instructor, sharing her expertise at prominent institutions such as Steps on Broadway and Alvin Ailey, teaching adult beginner hip-hop and street styles. Amy also imparts her knowledge and passion to aspiring young dancers as a current faculty member at Brooklyn Arts Exchange and formerly holding teaching positions at Dwana Smallwood Performing Arts Center, Ifetayo Cultural Arts, and other youth programs, inspiring young dancers with her expertise.
