CURRENT CLASSES

Camden is a New York based performer, teacher and choreographer, and an alumni of the NYU Tisch Dance program and the Jacob's Pillow Musical Theater program. Camden currently acts as Resident Director/Assistant Choreographer for the National Tour of Chicago, and acted as the Swing/Dance Captain for the UK Touring Production of Chicago's limited engagement in Tokyo in 2022. Camden also served as Tour Choreographer for the National Tour of Finding Neverland in 2018 & 2019, and Dance Captain for the National Tour of Pippin in 2017.

For the past four years Camden had the privilege of acting as Chet Walker's associate, working closely alongside Chet teaching and creating work across the globe. Camden assisted Chet in reconstructing the Broadway Revival of Pippin for the first Japanese language production in Tokyo in 2019, and reset Pippin on Chet's behalf in Australia in 2020, as well as again in Tokyo in 2022. Camden assisted Chet in teaching in the style of jazz dance pioneer Jack Cole in New York as well as in London, and worked with Chet to develop his original show Jack Cole The Musical, which Camden, along with Chet's husband Jack Gill and writers Shaun Mckenna and Guy Kitchenn, will be moving forward with in Chet's honor.

Camden is deeply passionate about celebrating Chet's profound impact on the theater dance community by keeping his voice alive and furthering his devoted work preserving and sharing the legacy of Jack Cole. In doing so, Camden hopes to engage artists from across the globe in a deeper understanding and appreciation for where this art form comes from and how we are all intrinsically linked through the universality of jazz and theater dance.
