An A.C.E. certified Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer, Candace got hooked on fitness, teaching group fitness classes and personal training by way of dance. After earning her B.A. in Neuroscience and Behavior with a minor in Dance at Barnard College, Candace performed with and taught for companies including Jamie J & Co., abunDANCE Dance Company, Movement of the People Dance Company and Dances for a Variable Population. Combining her love of movement, promoting healthy self-esteem and active lifestyles, Candace currently teaches a variety of fitness classes including Bootcamp, Indoor Cycling, Cardio Kick Boxing, Hip Hop dance, and Body Sculpting. When not at Steps, you can find Candace teaching HIIT classes at FitRxN as well as dance to young people and seasoned movers throughout New York City.
