Adv/Beg Street Jazz:

David's extensive experience as a dancer and choreographer in hip-hop, jazz , ballet and contemporary enables him to fuse these forms into a warm-up that strengthens, teaches and builds the student into a complete all around dancer. The class culminates with a combination that contains all the elements used throughout the class. David's unique style and philosophy make an environment that promotes exploration, risk and most of all fun.

Contemporary Jazz:
David's classes are guided by the principle of exploring movement through technique and the expression of emotion. Through his choreography and verbal direction, his classes create a nurturing environment where the dancer pushes the boundaries of their technique and embraces the joy of dancing with their body, heart and mind.

Steps Youth Programs Hip Hop & Jazz:
After customized evaluation of the student's skill level they do a fun and enthusiastic warm-up that is appropriate for their age and ability. The fundamentals of all David's School at Steps classes are discovery, understanding of movement, repetition, technique and fun. David's goal is to help each student discover and express his or her love of dance. If children enjoy the classes than they are learning without even knowing it!
