Mallory Davis
Mallory Davis is an actor, choreographer, and teacher based in NYC! Favorite credits include: 42nd St National Tour (Lorraine, Annie u/s), Goodspeed Opera House (Will Rogers Follies- Swing), Ogunquit Playhouse (White Christmas x2, Priscilla), The Fulton Theater (Chicago- Go To Hell Kitty, Annie), Riverside Theatre, North Shore Music Theatre, and Gateway Playhouse. While working in musical theater, tap has always been her favorite. She has a strong tap background stemming from Kathleen Cirioli, and was lucky enough to grow up attending workshops in the city learning from the greats- Barbara Duffy, Prof. Robert Reed, Avi and Ofer, Germaine Salsberg, Ayodele Casel, Reggio "The Hoofer," Karen Callaway Williams, Ray Hesselink, and more. Her first year in the city, Mallory was in the tap company "Cats Paying Dues" under the direction of Andrew Nemr. This summer, Mallory will be the Associate Choreographer/Dance Captain/Lorraine for Theatre By The Sea's production of 42nd St. She is also the proud founder of TAP AND DRINK, a pop-up tap class created to help foster community and make tap less intimidating. Focusing on musicality, syncopation, and articulation, Mallory believes in creating a space where students feel comfortable enough to make mistakes, ask questions, and grow while working up a good sweat.
