Marinda Davis
Touring with conventions from a young age, Marinda worked as an assistant to Gus Giordano, Frank Hatchett, Ray Leeper, Dennis Caspary & Lisa Allain. She graduated from Marymount Manhattan College while simultaneously training at BDC with her mentor, Sheila Barker. Marinda danced professionally with Sting, 98 Degrees & was a founding/principal dancer for Anthony Morigerato's, AMDP, NY. In 2010, Dance.com recognized her as a Top 10 Young Choreographer.

Known as an inspiring, life changing educator & mentor, Marinda inspires countless dancers across the world. She's on faculty at BDC, Peridance, in10sive, Art of Movement, Power Pak, Genesis & WILD. She is the Artistic Director of marInspired ; the storytellers, founded in 2009. In 2012, marInspired's 1st full length show, "Breakable" premiered & that same year, Marinda received her 1st Capezio ACE Award nom, her 2nd in 2015 ; the latter, receiving 2nd place & funding for "UNbreakable". It previewed at Dancerpalooza & premiered at the El Portal in LA in 2016. In 2017, Marinda self produced "UNbreakable" at NY's Symphony Space, & in 2019 at the SCERA Theatre in Utah.

In 2017, Marinda choreographed a piece for the DWTS Season 25 finale starring Julianne Hough. Marinda's powerful story was the subject of the Emmy Honored docuseries My Last Days on the CW in 2018. That summer, marInspired was featured on Szn 2 of NBC's World of Dance. Marinda was the Exec Choreographer for Season 10 of Comedy Central's Tosh.0 & Abbvie's "Speak Endo" campaign where she choreographed PSA's starring Julianne Hough.

In 2019, Marinda was commissioned to set a new work on Giordano Chicago. "Flickers" premiered at The Harris & was reviewed as a "masterpiece" & her movement "a genre unto itself." In 2020, Marinda choreographed the film, "Clouds" for Disney+ & in 2021, an art docufilm, "Steadfast." She also appeared as a celebrity judge on Siwas Dance Pop Revolution on E !

A true multihyphenate artist, Marinda remains a beacon of light to the industry through her choreography, classes, speaking engagements, & writings. She is currently a professor at Pace University in both NY & LA.
