Rashaan James II went to University at Buffalo for a BFA in Musical theatre and a BA in dance. Some of his favorite credits include, Crazy for You at Lincoln Center (Junior) directed by Susan Stroman, Dreamgirls with Jennifer Holliday (Tru-Tone/5 Tuxes), Dirty Dancing US tour (ensemble), West Side Story international tour, South Pacific 1st National Tour (Swing) and 42nd Street National Tour.

He teaches tap, jazz, ballet and musical theater in studios and universities all over the world, including New York City, Osaka, Vancouver, Paris, London, Toronto. He is a proud member for Actors' Equity Association where he also sits on the National Council.
