Tomiko Magario
Tomiko Magario's Ballet class is built with healthy understanding of body and profound appreciation to dance history.

Magario has taught in both United States and Japan. Besides teaching at dance studio, she also taught in the Brooklyn public school system through the Outreach Program of the Brooklyn Ballet. As well as teaching she has set and choreographed numbers of Ballet on children including Cinderella, Midsummer Night Dream, Les Sylphides, Sleeping Beauty and more.

Her students have been accepted to school such as JKO at American Ballet Theatre, Gelsey Kirkland Academy of Classical Ballet, Paris Opera Ballet School, Royal Winnipeg Ballet of Canada and Bolshoi Academy among others. Also some students has expanded them career to Broadway Show such as the Lion King and the King and I.

As a teacher she continues to educate herself by attending teachers training course with Nina Osipyan at Gelsey Kirkland Academy of Classical Ballet, Dancers wellness workshop with New York City Ballet, LOD workshop taught by Oona Haaranen under Brooklyn Ballet. She continues study and performing with Dance Historian and Baroque dance specialist Thomas Baird. She also has been practicing Pilates, Yoga, Gyrotonic Expansion System and Core Dynamics taught by Gelsey Kirkland.

Magario has also taking position of ballet mistress and assistant to choreographer in company such as Ballet Neo, Dance Theatre in Westchester.

Since 2008 she is a director/founder of New Rising Sun Dance Project.
