All international students applying for the program, must submit a completed application at least two (2) months prior to desired program start date. Applications are submitted through the website, Acceptd. Students must also submit proof of sufficient funding for tuition and living expenses for the duration of their program directly to the Program Director. Steps will notify a student of acceptance by email within two weeks of receiving a completed application.
Once a student is accepted into the program and tuition deposit has been made, Steps on Broadway will issue an I-20 Certificate of Eligibility. This certificate, along with your letter of acceptance and financial documentation, must be submitted to your local American Embassy or Consulate to process your M-1 Visa.

Transfer/Change of Status Students
Students who are already in the United States with a M-1 visa may transfer into Steps on Broadway’s program from other schools within the first six (6) months of other school’s start date. A completed IISP application must be submitted and acceptance granted before transfer can be made. An I-539 transfer application must be submitted to USCIS.
Students looking to change status from a J-1 or F-1 must submit a complete IISP application and then complete I-539 change of status application with USCIS. Contact the Program Director further details. Full application procedure and fees are required.
