Each student accepted into the program may develop their own course of study comprised of at least forty-eight (48) classes per month from our daily class schedule*. We recommend that for the first month, students take a variety of classes to gain a better understanding of the faculty and their teaching styles.
A sample weekly schedule may include:
- 5 classes in your primary discipline
- 3 ballet or floor barre classes
- 1 body conditioning (ex. Pilates, Yoga,)
- 3 electives
* Daily scheduled classes include: Ballet, contemporary, modern, theater dance, jazz, tap, hip hop, world dance, Pilates, yoga, gyrokenesis®, and zumba.
Master Classes: Students in the 12 month program get ten (10) master classes as part of their tuition. Students in the three (3) or six (6) month programs have the option to purchase them on an à la carte basis. These classes offered throughout the year are listed on the Guest Teachers & Master Classes and the Workshop pages.
The weekly schedule for students opting for the Dance/Pilates Certification Focus will be adjusted accordingly. If you desire guidance in developing your independent study, you may schedule a meeting with the Program Director.
Each student is expected to maintain proper etiquette in the classroom and on the premises and uphold their attendance requirements. Failure to do so will result in dismissal from the program and put in jeopardy their M-1 visa status.
