Originally from a dairy farm in Ohio, Caleb graduated from Oklahoma City University with a Bachelors Degree in Dance Performance with a minor in history and now calls New York City home! He has performed regionally across America—a few favorites including EURYDICE (The MET Opera, choreographed by Tony nominated Dennis Jones), FUNNY FACE (Off-Broadway), WEST SIDE STORY (The Asolo Rep Theatre, directed by Tony nominated Joey McKneely), LA CAGE AUX FOLLES (Goodspeed Opera House), and 42nd STREET (Lexington Theatre Company, Dance Captain). You can watch him on HBOMax’s THE GILDED AGE Season One as a Footman to the Russell Household, go-go dancing at Body Politic on Netflix’s TALES OF THE CITY, and performing the original choreography of “The Rich Man’s Frug” with the Verdon Fosse Legacy on Episode 2 of The BBC’s “The Sound of Movie Musicals with Neil Brand.”

Caleb was the associate choreographer for WAITRESS and MATILDA at Music Theatre Wichita, Movement Director for KATE HUNDLEY’S RESORT 2024 fashion runway, an assistant choreographer to Billy Griffin for BROADWAY BARES 2023, and he has had two of his choreographic works featured in The Steps Beyond Foundation’s Spring and Fall Choreography Labs. He teaches & choreographs at various studios around the United States, including guest faculty at Broadway Dance Center in NYC, and works with Impact Dance Adjudicators for judging and master classes at dance competitions.

Caleb interviews other industry professionals alongside his co-host, Elliott Mattox, on the podcast EQUITY ONE: BROADWAYS HAPPY HOUR available on The Broadway Podcast Network, iTunes, and wherever you listen to your podcasts. Alongside his husband, Cole Burden, Caleb runs a home solutions company called SimplifyNYC. Their goal is to better your quality of life by ridding it of negative, cluttered space and creating a clear, safe space outside the hustle and bustle of NYC. Caleb is currently represented with the bicoastal agency: The Movement.

Class Description
Caleb’s class begins with a full jazz warm-up to build strength, activate technique, and prepare the body for performance. Dancers then dive into narrative, story-driven combinations rooted in character, musicality, and the timeless style of classic MGM movie musicals and traditional Broadway.

Rather than just mimicking steps, students are encouraged to embody the style and make it their own. With an energetic, supportive vibe, Caleb’s class balances technique and expression—inviting dancers to perform with clarity, confidence, and heart.

Dr. Chloé Roberts is a dancer, choreographer, and scholar whose work examines the history of power, labor, gender, and the law through contemporary performance.
Class description:
My classes often blend classical theater and jazz lineages with contemporary styles. Each class consists of a full, technical warm-up that incorporates stretching and strengthening to prepare the body for choreography. I firmly believe that class is a place to explore, create, and learn about yourself as an artist everyday, and I strive to make my class a positive and welcoming learning environment.

In 2008, Katie became a Radio City Rockette and in her 15 years with the company, has held the role of assistant dance captain, swing, dance captain and assistant choreographer. As a Rockette, Katie performed at The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, The Rockefeller Center Tree Lighting, America’s Got Talent, The Annual White House Christmas Party and The Today Show. In 2015 and 2016, Katie helped develop, choreograph and stage the NY Spring Spectacular and the NY Spectacular alongside Warren Carlyle and Mia Michaels. As an assistant choreographer, Katie helped direct and choreograph for the Tony Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, USO Partnership Performances, America’s Got Talent, The Kacey Musgraves Christmas Special and a Hallmark Channel Movie “A Holiday Spectacular”. She has had the honor to serve as rehearsal director and assistant to Linda Haberman with The Verdon Fosse® Legacy’s “Sweet Gwen Suite”.

She is the co-founder of The Precision Dance Collective (www.precisiondancecollective.com) which hosts monthly workshops and annual performances with a focus on precision dance training.

Katie is currently a choreographer in New York City. Her work was recently performed for Pace University’s Commercial Dance DanceSpace Performance, BDC Professional Semester and Steps On Broadway Industry Showcase. She is on faculty at Steps on Broadway, Broadway Dance Center and is an adjunct professor at Marymount Manhattan College.

Class Description
Most importantly, Katie’s class is comfortable, safe, and fun. Because she creates this type of environment in every class, dancers can advance their education and work on high level precision jazz challenges and technique without any added or unnecessary pressure that does not facilitate technical growth. Katie’s class is best for dancers who want to learn and perform in a manner that reflects the modern day artistic and directive range of precision jazz. Students will not just learn one style of precision jazz or one technique to dance in “precision.” Rather, students will gain experience in the classroom rooted in the rich history and evolution of precision jazz while learning work within the variety of dance genres that, more often than ever in modern day, find their way to the precision form on stage, tours, music videos, theater, commercials, and more! The diversity of the precision jazz experience in Katie’s class reflects her belief that there is not just one way to be a professional dancer, not only one body type that should be a professional dancer, nor only one type of artist that can succeed in the dance industry.

With an emphasis on learning details, quality and musicality, Katie encourages all of her students to take the learning process into other classes to improve their ability to learn quickly and retain choreography.
All dancers are welcome in Katie’s class, from rookie dancers to well seasoned veteran performers.

Class Description
Vernacular jazz is the original jazz dance. It has some overlapping vocabulary with tap dance, and roots derived from West African dances brought to America during the trans-Atlantic slave trade. Emphasizing rhythms, body movement, and agility, vernacular jazz was predominantly danced to jazz music during the swing era. Dancers performed vernacular jazz on stage and screen, and there is also a rich social tradition of dancers improvising together and trading steps in ballrooms.
