FIRST STEPS SUMMER
The First Steps Division introduces our youngest dancers to the joy of creative movement and early artistic expression. Through structured, age-appropriate training in multiple styles of dance, students develop coordination, musicality, and foundational technique. In a nurturing and engaging environment, students gain confidence, build classroom skills, and learn to work both independently and as part of a group. Our approach fosters a love of dance from the very first step, inspiring curiosity, creativity, and discovery along the way.
Summer is an ideal time for children to gain confidence, try something new, or get a head start before entering fall classes. With two distinct offerings of a weekly ballet class and immersive mini dance camp experiences, dancers are encouraged to develop creativity, independence, and a lasting enthusiasm for dance.
New York State and New York City Child Welfare laws mandate that parents or caregivers of children up until age 6 must be on the premises when the children are in class and/or in the building. Children ages 0-24 months must have a parent or caregiver in the studio with them.
