Marie Rose Baramo

Marie Rose Baramo is a native New Yorker who began her career as a commercial dancer. Her background includes extensive training in heels, hip hop, street jazz, latin and contemporary dance.

Marie has performed with musical artists including Katy Perry, Cher, Camila Cabello, Jennifer Hudson, Future the rapper, Lil Kim, Lil Nas X, Becky G, Sebastian Yatra, and Rachel Platten.

Film, television and theater credits include Tick Tick…Boom!, Isn’t It Romantic, Tell Me A Story, Godfather Of Harlem, Marvel’s Jessica Jones, The Get Down, The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, Saturday Night Live, The Today Show, Video Music Awards, Latin American Music Awards, Youtube Awards, Univision and ABC Upfronts, Saturday Night Fever Asia Tour, The Bodyguard – North Shore Music Theater, Pre Productions for Fly and Zoot Suit.

New York Fashion Week dance credits include Vogue World, Kenzo, Phillip Plein, Moncler and Macy’s.

Choreography : Marie has choreographed for brands, magazines & live performance such as Tiffany & co., Staud for NY Fashion Week, Love Shack Fancy for NY Fashion Week, Terez for the “Terez & NBA” clothing collaboration, T Magazine and Broadway Bares (to benefit people in need and those fighting against HIV/AIDS).

She is a graduate of Rutgers University Mason Gross School of the Arts with a BFA in Dance, represented by Bloc Talent Agency.

Class Description
This is a safe space to explore who you are as an artist, while also pushing yourself to get better at the craft of dance, musicality and performance. You will find the freedom of who you are as an artist in this class and while doing so, explore how to hold onto the details of the combo we are working on; freedom and specificity. Heels is an empowering form of dance that is open to all kinds of people.
