Located in New York City’s Upper West Side, Steps on Broadway is a global leader in exceptional dance training, catering to aspiring and pre-professional dancers alike. Through our Group programming, your dancers have the opportunity to immerse themselves in an exclusive class experience crafted to engage them with the New York City dance scene.
Whether it’s in private classes, engaging workshops, or Daily Scheduled classes there is a multitude of ways to make the most of your time at Steps. Under the guidance of our Director of Group Programs, Steps will tailor dance experience suited to the needs of your students.
PLANNING YOUR VISIT
To book your group experience at STEPS on Broadway, follow these simple steps:
Step 1: Review the class schedule and materials. The Director of Group Programs will assist with levels and placement. Keep in mind that our regularly scheduled classes are often full, so your group may need to be split among different classes.
Step 2: Contact the Director of Group Programs at least four weeks before your arrival to confirm your class selections and secure discounted group rates.
Step 3: Book your trip. After finalizing your itinerary with the Group Director, you will receive a detailed confirmation and invoice. A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, which is refundable except for the Administrative Fee.
Step 4: Complete your final payment. Final payment is due two weeks prior to arrival and is non-refundable. We accept American Express, Mastercard/Visa, checks, money orders, and wire transfers. The Group Director will reach out to confirm all the details for your visit.
Once you arrive, you’ll receive a personalized package with class reservation confirmation, NYC visitor information, and more. Your work is done—now it’s time to dance and enjoy!

GROUP PACKAGE OPTIONS
Steps offers numerous activities to select from as you create a personalized dance experience for you and your students.
In-Studio or Virtual Regular Daily Scheduled Classes: Take class with the pros or experience our world-renowned faculty without travelling. Whether your students enjoy ballet, modern, jazz, tap, hip hop, theater dance or strengthening classes such as Pilates or yoga, Steps offers different level classes for everyone’s needs. (ages 12 and older)
In-Studio or Virtual Private Master Classes: Steps offers private master classes for your students at any level in any discipline you request. Private master classes are recommended for large groups, students under twelve years of age or for those seeking more intensive training. For Virtual Private Master Class, teachers will Zoom from the studios of Steps with high technical quality. Your dancers can be in the studio or receive their own personalized link to join from anywhere. (all ages)
Musical Theater Workshop: Learn a production number from your favorite Broadway musical. Working with a vocal coach/musical director and choreographer, this workshop is perfect for singers and actors who move as well as for dancers who sing. The workshop culminates in a performance for the parents.
Audition Workshop: Prepare your students for the real thing. This simulated professional musical theater, contemporary or ballet audition helps students gain confidence, skills and practical knowledge on the art of auditioning. Click below to find out more about our Audition Workshops.

Cancellation/Refund Policy:
Cancellation of any package not paid in full will result in an Administrative Fee. There are no refunds after final payment. Student and Group Leader classes are non-transferable and may only be used during the group’s current visit. There are no refunds for classes not taken.
*Please keep in mind Steps is a professional school and class levels are much higher than those in other studios.
