Gaby Cook

Gaby Cook is an esteemed, active professional in the global lindy hop community. For 20 years, she has established her career performing for international swing dance festivals. On stage, she is a principal dancer for the acclaimed “SW!NG OUT” which premiered at the Joyce theater and tours regularly. Other stage credits include: “Macy’s Day Parade” for Nickelodeon’s Blue’s Clues, “Swing’s the Thing” with Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra,“Decades of Dance” at the BET Soultrain Awards, “Don’t Mean a Thing” with the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center, “Swingtime: Revolution in Rhythm” with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra and many appearances in film and TV.
As a choreographer, her dance company “New York Swings” has been featured in Jacob’s Pillow’s Inside/Out Series (2025), with upcoming performances at “Works & Process” Manhattan West, and 92NY. In New York, Gaby is one of Lindy Hop’s most influential community organizers. She co-curates and teaches in weekly educational programs: Midtown Swings and Swing at the 92NY.
