Shelby Finnie

Shelby is originally from Greensboro, NC and received her classical dance education from the North Carolina School of the Arts with a focus in Ballet.  She is an NYC based performer whose professional career has spanned across multiple platforms and styles. Shelby has worked with many Tony Nominated and Award winning creatives such as Casey Nicholaw, Camille A. Brown, and Susan Stroman. Some of her favorite performing credits include, the original  Broadway company of “The Prom,” “Jagged Little Pill” 1st National Tour, “Cabaret” (Goodspeed Opera House) and “Jesus Christ Superstar LIVE on NBC.” Shelby is a Radio City Rockette of 8 seasons, and has performed on The Today Show, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, New York Knicks, Live with Kelly and Mark, Rockefeller Center Tree Lighting, Michael Bublé at Radio City, Mariah Carey live at MSG and more.

Shelby is also a choreographer and educator. She believes in leading a room with kindness and respect, and strives to maintain a commitment to honest storytelling that’s rooted in technique and authenticity. She is excited to continue to inspire the next generation of dancers and performers!
