Alexandria Bradley
Alexandria Bradley comes to us directly from the stage of Broadway’s Shuffle Along, or The Making of The Musical Sensation Of 1921 and All That Followed wherein she shared the stage with Broadway legends such as Audra McDonald, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Billy Porter, and Savion Glover.
A native of Flint, MI, Alexandria is a practitioner of music. She expresses her love and knowledge through her voice and feet. She has been singing and tap dancing her whole life. Alexandria feels blessed to be a member of Savion Glover’s tap dance company, TiDii, for four years. She has performed at the Cannes Film Festival in France in 2001, the 2002 Winter Olympics, The Nijinski Awards Show in Monaco, France, and Improvography at the Joyce Theater in New York City, along with many other performances throughout the country. She performed as a vocalist/tap dancer in the Atlanta, GA production of Bubblin’ Brown Sugar starring Diane Carroll.
She was an adjunct professor of tap dance at Queens College and Long Island University. Together with her sisters and father, Alexandria is a co-director of the Tapology Tap Festival for Youth in Flint, MI. She is inspired by and gives respect and honor to Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughn, John Coltrane, Bill “Bo Jangles” Robinson, Gregory Hines, and other innovative artists who have ascended to a higher existence.
