Amanda Lindamood
Amanda Lindamood is a NYC based dance educator, performer, and choreographer. Originally from Cleveland, OH, she began her dance training at the age of four at Cleveland Dance Academy and has been dancing ever since. She pursued her BA in Dance, Psychology, and Cognitive Science at Case Western Reserve University on a full tuition scholarship awarded by the Department of Dance. She received her Masters degree in Dance Education with a concentration in Ballet Pedagogy from New York University Steinhardt and received the ABT National Training Curriculum certifications in levels Pre-Primary through Level 7 and Partnering. Amanda currently holds faculty positions at Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School Children’s Division at American Ballet Theatre and Steps on Broadway Academy. She is also a teaching artist with the Misty Copeland Foundation’s BE BOLD program, National Dance Institute, and with American Ballet Theatre’s outreach program.
