Andrea Palesh

Headshot Andrea Palesh

Andrea Palesh is a Colorado native currently residing in New York City. She attended Colorado State University receiving a BA in dance and BS in fashion merchandising. While at CSU she had the distinct pleasure of rigorously training with faculty members Chung-Fu Chang, Jane Slusarski-Harris, and Judy Bejarano. Additionally, she had the chance to work with such guest artists as Gabriel Masson, Kim Neal Nofsinger, and Hannah Kahn. Inspired by the opportunities NYC had to offer, Andrea moved to the city upon graduation from CSU. While simultaneously working in fashion PR and digital marketing, Andrea danced in Eyes of a Blue Dog Dance Theater, under the artistic direction of Elspeth Brown, performing at APAP, Dance Theater Workshop, Greenspace, and Jacob’s Pillow ‘Inside Out’ Series. The city also sparked an interest in Andrea to train in commercial and street style dance, receiving most of her training at Broadway Dance Center. She’s performed with entertainer Robert Taylor Jr. from Season 8 of So You Think You Can Dance?, was a featured dancer in the off-off broadway show Chris March’s Butt-Cracker Suite: A Trailer Park Ballet, and toured extensively both internationally and domestically with the Bollywood sensation, Mystic India: The World Tour. She currently performs regularly, co-directs, and choreographs for the nightlife cabaret spectacle: Guilty Pleasures Cabaret. And when she’s not dancing or choreographing, she can be found writing for her personal blog read-between-the-lanes.com, contributing articles for YogiApproved.com, and helping brands build their online and social media presence.
