Andrew Turteltaub
Andrew Turteltaub, aka Andrew Turtle, has been teaching dance since the age of 16. Growing up in Brooklyn, he studied at a local dance studio, consistently traveled into Manhattan to take classes at Steps on Broadway and other professional studios.
Professionally he started his career at age 17, performing all over the country and the world in such shows as Fame the Musical both the national tour and Off Broadway companies, We Will Rock You original company member in Las Vegas, and most recently played ‘Chistery’ in Wicked. He has also had the pleasure of being an original member of the Mia Michaels dance company RAW. One of the most rewarding experiences of his career has been to be part of the benefit performances of “A Few Good Men Dancing.”
He has been blessed to teach and choreograph at countless dance studios, colleges, and dance conventions across the country and Canada. Andrew has had the pleasure of assisting such choreographers as Marc Dendy, Frank Hatchett, Jeff Amsden, and Derrick Yanford on many different projects of all different styles of dance.
