Angelina Alfaro
Originally from Peru, Angelina Alfaro has been dancing to Salsa, Merengue, Folk music and several other Latin rhythms since a very young age. After her appearances in the children’s TV show Tornasol, which aired in Peru, she knew, that dancing was her call in life. Shortly after, she moved to NYC, where she became a certified Zumba® Fitness Instructor and began her training at the world renowned Broadway Dance Center. Angelina is currently teaching at the hottest fitness clubs and studios all over the city, including Equinox, New York Sports Club and Z Club NY. Her class was featured in Star and OK! magazines, and she’s been involved in various events and fundraisers to raise awareness for charities.
Her performance credits include Panamericana Television’s Tornasol, workshops at the New York City Ballet, The Kat Wildish Showcase 2013-2015 at the Alvin Ailey Citigroup Theater. BDC Showcases at Peter Jay Sharp Symphony Space, the Chris Palacio Dance Project 2015 and 2016. Dance is her passion and she expresses that in her movement. Her classes are liberating, high impact and interactive. Spicy, as her students called her, is also one of the first certified GROOV3 Instructors in New York City. She’s also a dedicated yoga practitioner and soon to be Yoga Instructor.
Angelina believes that everybody can dance. “Just listen to the music and let loose”.
