Barry Gans

A Boise, Idaho native, Barry Gans discovered his profound passion for dance as a young child. Barry attended the Juilliard School where he performed works by Martha Graham, Crystal Pite, Ohad Naharin, William Forsythe and Peter Chu. After receiving his BFA in 2020, Barry joined Nederlands Dans Theater 2 in The Hauge. During his time in the company, he has worked with choreographers including Jyri Kilian, Marco Goeke, Alexander Ekman, Johan Inger, Marcos Marou, Edward Clug, and David & Tiffany Tregarthen. Barry is interested in exploring the language of movement as a facet of humanity and communication.
