Brynlie Helmich

Brynlie Helmich (she/her) is a NYC-based choreographer, educator, and dancer originally from Arizona who trained at Steps on Broadway through the Summer Study: Contemporary Intensive and Conservatory program. She joined Elisa Monte Dance Company (now EMERGE125) in 2017 and performed with the company for two seasons. Since moving to New York City, Brynlie has worked with Irene Ashu as a Movement Director for Victoria’s Secret PINK and other brands, served as Assistant Choreographer to Tiffany Rea-Fisher on the New York Times Critic’s Pick production of Twelfth Night, and performed in seven productions with The Classical Theatre of Harlem.
As an educator, Brynlie specializes in contemporary fusion, jazz, lyrical, heels, and floorwork. Her teaching emphasizes musicality, dynamic movement quality, performance presence, and individual expression through mindful, intentional movement. IG @brynlie_
Class Description
Brynlie’s classes are grounded, encouraging, and designed to prioritize musicality, presence, and personal expression. Dancers are invited to connect to the music, move with intention, and explore their individuality while developing dynamic movement quality and performance presence. Her goal is for every dancer to leave class feeling more connected, empowered, and supported in their artistry.
