Cathy Lyn is a current company member of American Dance Machine for the 21st Century (ADM21). A native New Yorker, she received much of her early theater dance training as a teenager with Lee Theodore, founder of the original American Dance Machine and subsequently with Bob Tucker, whom she would substitute for at Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway. She has taught at Hampshire College and Smith College. Some of her performing credits include the national tours and regional productions of West Side Story (Anybody), Guggenheim Works and Process, Barnum, Sugar Babies, Sesame Street Live, Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, Dance Machine International in NYC and in Japan with Takarazuka Revue. Most recently she was thrilled to go back to her roots and perform the past two years with ADM21 at The Joyce Theatre. Her choreography credits include Jesus Christ Superstar and Evita Off- Broadway. Cathy is passionate about teaching and passing on the invaluable information that she received to the next generation of dancers through her teaching for ADM21 at Steps On Broadway.
