Claudio Asprea
Claudio Asprea is an Argentine tango dancer, teacher, and choreographer from Buenos Aires who has been traveling the world extensively since 1997 performing and teaching Argentine Tango.
Mr. Asprea has taught Argentine tango workshops, seminars and lectures, as a Guest Master Teacher at innumerable Tango academies, ballroom studios, cultural centers and dance studios, in his home town Buenos Aires, Paris, London, Rome, Milan, Lisbon, Zürich, Barcelona, Luxembourg, Athens, Istambul, Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Prague, New York, Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, Chicago.
Since 1998, Mr. Asprea has been invited every year as a Performer and Master Teacher at some of the most important Tango Argentine Tango events and Ballroom Studios in New York and the U.S. The most recent ones:
–The 13th NEW YORK CITY TANGO FESTIVAL-“CELEBRATE TANGO”, 22-28 July 2013, as a Master Teacher, and as a performer with Festival Tango Show.
–The OFFICIAL USA CHAMPIONSHIP & USA TANGO FESTIVAL, San Francisco, CA, April 17-20, 2014, Official Local Branch Tango Buenos Aires Festival & Dance World Cup, as a Performer and Master Teacher.
In 2011-2012 Claudio Asprea appeared in shows partnered by ABT dancer Luciana Paris, performing and teaching argentine tango in New York, Germany, Luxembourg, and France. Claudio and Luciana were the Guest Artist at the New York All Night Milonga 10th Anniversary, along with 2011 Word Tango Champions Diego Benavidez & Natasha Agudelo, and at the Argentine Tango Pantera Club 4th Anniversary (Middletown, NJ, September 10, 2011).
Since 1998, Mr. Asprea have been guest performer and teacher every year on almost every tango dance floor in New York city: La Nacional, La Belle Epoque, El Triangulo, The All Night Milonga, Danel and Maria’s Milonga, New York Spice Festival, Milonga Corazon at Pierre Dulaine Dance Center, Tony Meredith and Melanie LePatin’s Dance Times Square Studio, Adam and Cigdem’s Male Leche, Santiago Steele’s “Practilonga-939” at RG Studios, La Boca Restaurant, Jack’s Milonga, Esmeralda’s Tango Salon, Stepping Out Studios, Dardo Galletto Studios, DanceSport Studios, Dance Manhattan Studios, DanceTango-Milonga Rosa, Milonga Amarras, “El Beso Tango Salon” Lafayette Grill, and many other tango venues.
