Danie Kurzman (she/her), a Boston native, graduated Joffrey Ballet School in NYC and has spent the past few years traveling around the world performing onboard Holland America Line. A favorite hometown dance memory was performing at the Boston Celtics Pre-Game Show.

Favorite performances in NYC include; “Rise Up” choreography by Tokyo, Jazz Ain’t Dead choreography by Candice Franklin, New York Fashion Week performance with singer Leah Kate, “Made to Dance in Burning Buildings” assistant to the choreographer Emily Bufferd at Joe’s Pub, dance captain/ Brenda in “Hairspray” on tour, most recently performing with BAVA Dance for Amateur Night at the Apollo and back up dancing for drag queen Amanda Porq. Danie can also be seen behind the table as a judge for dance competitions and teaching open classes as a sub at Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway, where she can share her passion for passing on knowledge to young dancers. She is thrilled to be joining the Steps Youth Program faculty!
