DANIELLE JOLIE DALE-HANCOCK started as a Star Search Dance Finalist and member of Hubbard Street Dance Company Chicago after attending the “Fame” Performing Arts High School in NYC. As a graduate from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mrs. Dale-Hancock has worked with the finest modern choreographers: Twyla Tharp, Bill T. Jones, Ron Brown, Judith Jamieson, Daniel Ezralow, Joseph Holmes and two of the most iconic dance ethnologists Dr. Pearl Primus and Katherine Dunham.

While being a Radio City Rockette, Dance Captain, Choreographer, and Director for 18 years she earned an MFA from NYU Tisch on a Full Merit Scholarship. In addition, Danielle has performed in numerous musicals, including the Original Broadway Cast of Saturday Night Fever, the World Premiere Tour of Contact, and the World and American Premiere of Ragtime working with such renowned choreographers as Susan Stroman, Daniela Graciela, Kathleen Marshall, and Jerry Mitchell. Besides performing for the Rockettes at the Flamingo Hilton in Las Vegas, Danielle has also performed in countless television productions: such as the Tony Awards, Oscars, and over 10 Thanksgiving Day Parades and Today Show appearances.

Historically speaking, Mrs. Dale-Hancock is one of the first 5 minorities ever hired as a Rockette and the first person of color to be Dance Captain. Danielle also made history being the only person to dance with the Rockettes and the Knicks City Dancers (Dance Captain and Choreographer) at the same time. Recently Danielle made history again at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) as the first person of color to choreograph a musical.

Honored with the Top 5 Under 10 and M.A.D. (Making A Difference) in Performing Arts Awards from the University of Michigan, and former Miss New York USA Teen, Danielle has a broad range of accomplishments. As the former Executive Director of the Miss American Pageant, adjunct dance professor and teacher of master classes at numerous colleges Mrs. Dale-Hancock’s expertise is wide and incomparable. Once the Resident Choreographer at the Jewish Community Centers (JCC) in Boca Raton and Boynton Beach in Florida, Danielle is the owner/operator of a successful Pilates/Yoga/Barre studio, VIP Pilates, in Boca Raton. Danielle is also the President of the ROCAlumnae Inc non-profit working with Steps NYC and about to start a nonprofit theatre company called Only1U Theatre Productions in Boca Raton. Currently Mrs. Dale-Hancock is beyond honored to be the Artist in Residence at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida.
