Eliza Ohman

Eliza is the US Associate Choreographer for SIX: The Musical and was most recently seen onstage screaming, crying, and being flung 25 ft in the air by a 2,000 lbs puppet in NYT fave, King Kong … kidding! … Mr. Brantley was not a fan (pero like, the Chita Rivera Awards were into it, so…). She loves to perform, teach, and irrationally yell at the TV while watching Denver sports teams.

She moved to New York when she was 18 and got her Bachelor of Arts in Media, Culture, and the Arts, however she quickly found her way back to dancing after joining the New York City Ensemble of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. She’s worked regionally, commercially, as a swing, dance captain, and ensemble girl #5, however some career favorites include “Fosse/Verdon,” Hamilton, and dancing outside for Carly Rae Jepsen’s “I Really Like You” music video on the coldest recorded day of 2015 (dreams).

In addition to performing, Eliza is incredibly passionate about teaching. She teaches around the country for competitive and recreational studios, dance programs, conventions, and is on faculty at Steps on Broadway and The Joffrey Ballet School.
