Eric Davis
Chicago native Eric R. Davis received his early dance training at the Chicago Multi-Cultural Dance Center under the tutelage of Homer Bryant. He furthered his training at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater summer intensive as well as in the Deeply Rooted second company training program.
Having received his Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Western Michigan University, Davis has since parlayed the life skills he acquired as a dancer into a career centered around youth education, outreach, and advocacy. He has worked with the the Joffrey Ballet of Chicago’s Outreach Program, Harlem Children’s Zone as well as several other underserved schools within Chicago and New York City. As an educator, Davis strives to create platforms where students learn to succeed regardless of their cultural or socio-economic backgrounds.
