Gail Pearson

Gail has performed on Broadway, Radio City Music Hall, national tours, Industrials, Stock and Las Vegas, also working as Assistant choreographer and/or Dance Captain on most.

She studied many styles of jazz, including Luigi’s and Matt Mattox’s from Frank Pietri and found the perfect fit with Betsy Haug’s style. She was Betsy’s first student and protégé in NYC and worked closely with Betsy as her assistant choreographer and teacher of her classes and style. Betsy, who is no longer teaching, said “if anyone is going to teach my style, it should be Gail.”

Gail taught jazz at New Dance Group Studio, Joe Davis Dance Studio and Ballet Hispanico in NYC as well as various studios in New Jersey. After NYC she spent time as a competitive bodybuilder in Las Vegas and Los Angeles but returned to her true love of dance. Gail currently lives in Los Angeles, where she teaches dance, fitness and is a personal trainer. For the last two years she has returned to NYC to teach master classes in the Betsy Haug style.
