JA Collective, founded by Los Angeles natives Jordan Johnson and Aidan Carberry, blends contemporary dance, hip-hop, theater, and video work, to forge a unique and enticing world. JA Collective gained prominence by directing and choreographing music videos for the band half•alive which amassed millions of views online. Their other commercial work spans collaborations with artists like Frank Ocean, Paul McCartney, Reggie Watts, Margaret Qualley, Mike Mills, Bishop Briggs, Talking Heads, BrockHampton, Taika Waititi, Future, and various brands like Apple, Allstate, Invisalign and more. In 2024, JA Collective won multiple international choreography awards and were presented at the TED conference in Vancouver. In addition, They are currently on tour internationally as dancers in a new show curated by William Forsythe called “Friends of Forsythe.” Plus, they are making works on dance companies and leading movement workshops around the world .
