Jason E. Bernard

Jason E. Bernard, a native New Yorker from The Bronx, made his Broadway debut at 17 in the Tony Award-winning Bring in ’da Noise, Bring in ’da Funk. His credits include Spike Lee’s Bamboozled, Bojangles with the late Gregory Hines, and City Center Encores!’ Cotton Club Parade, which transferred to Broadway as After Midnight. He also performed in CoisCéim Dance Theatre’s Boxes and Dodgems in Ireland.
Jason spent seven years as a Tap Educator and faculty member with LA Dance Magic and served as Director of the LADM Tap Company. He is currently a featured performer with Jackie Sleight’s LA Jazz Company.
