Jenn Rose is an award winning choreographer working in theater, concert dance, and film. Most recent regional theatre choreography includes You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown (Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park), Cabaret (Arden Theatre Co), Ain’t Misbehavin’ (Milwaukee Repertory Theatre), The Black Nativity (Theatre Horizon), and Honk! (Two River Theatre). Commissioned choreography includes Don’t Worry If You Know It (Ursinus College), Untitled Project # 213 (Edinburgh Fringe 2019) No Other Way (Mr. Abbott Awards Gala 2019) Player Piano (Steps Conservatory Program), That’s What It’s All About (Dancebreak 2018) Missing Piece (Ballet Fleming). Class Description
SCREENDANCE is a movement based class that is designed to investigate the concept of the camera as an alternate stage space. Each class, students will be guided through new choreography and encouraged to explore the space they are in through the point of view of the camera. Through the use of smart phone technology, this class will provide the basic tools of video production and dance composition to help students create expressive media content.
